Where To Turn Association is a group of 4-6, Senior age women, who have come together to serve adult clients with developmental disabilities. All of us, offer between ten to twenty, or more years experience, working in the field of Special Education, or group home facilities.
Our mission, is to offer creative, vocational and educational opportunities, in the area of making soy jar candles, hyper-toufa planters, and other crafts, that will be for sale. We will be doing event planning, for our crafting and fund-raising.
Client participation, in these events will be encouraged. We believe it can’t and shouldn’t be, all work and no play. Therefore, a once a month outing will be planned, to take in community events, visit museums, go shopping, or just plain, relax and have a good fun day.
Currently, Where To Turn Association, has applied for 501(c)3, tax exempt status. This, takes some time to complete. So, as of today, we are in need of a place to locate, within the Poulsbo- Silverdale, area of Kitsap County, Washington. Then, I will be looking into the grant process, to help bring our services all together.
